Shipping containers #102--103 were loaded by the Rotary Club of Grand Bend / Global Literacy destine for R/C in Durban, South Africa. Another big accomplishment for Rotary Club of Grand Bend / Global Literacy as 2 shipping containers (#102 & #103) were loaded Friday and Saturday full of surplus school supplies and books bound for Durban, South Africa. These will be distributed to needy schools in the impoverished townships by local Rotary Clubs. Many thanks for the hours of volunteer work to gather these supplies over the year and to the many hands who helped do the actual loading. Job done!!!! #103 full and ready for the doors to be closed. The doors were closed on the second container at noon on Saturday thanks to a huge effort from over 50 individual volunteers including you!
A massive amount of literacy material will be on its way to Durban South Africa and should arrive at the end of Jan 2026. The loads include
