Rotary Club of London Supports Food Rescue in Our Community. At the Rotary Club of London meeting on Monday, March 9, Rotarians presented a $15,000 cheque to the London Food Coalition to help fund the purchase of a new refrigerated food rescue truck. 
Receiving the cheque were Matt Wannan, Manager of the London Food Coalition (centre left) and Tosha Densky  (centre right). The presentation was made by Rotarian Rick Coates (far left) and Local Service Committee Chair Don Stevens (far right).The London Food Coalition is a remarkable partnership of 27 local agencies that collectively rescue and redistribute over 375,000 pounds of surplus food each year to food banks, shelters, and meal programs across our city.The new 18–20 foot refrigerated truck will increase carrying capacity by 30–40%, enabling the rescue of an additional 100,000 pounds of food annually while improving food safety and operational efficiency.
