Dollarama turned into Santa’s workshop — Rotary style! Local Service Committee Chair Don Stevens has been one of Santa’s main helpers this season, working with the team at Dollarama to process 270 $25 gift cards that will soon be delivered to clients of The Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope in London.
The project—funded by the Rotary Club of London is now in its second year. These gift cards give recipients the freedom to choose from a wide range of merchandise, adding a touch of dignity and joy to their holiday season. The cards will be presented to Centre of Hope Executive Director Jon DeActis at our December 8, 2025 meeting. Jon shared that last year’s cards “brought a lot of joy to people who are sometimes overlooked at Christmas.”
