A Special Moment on a Special Evening. The final meeting of 2025 for the Rotary Club of London was already a celebration of the Christmas and holiday season — but it became truly unforgettable with a surprise that only the President and Board knew was coming. In keeping with tradition, the recipient of the Ray Lawson Rotarian of the Year Award was revealed only as the citation was read. The award recognizes a Rotarian who exemplifies the Rotary Four-Way Test through integrity, fairness, goodwill, and Service Above Self.
This year’s recipient is Danielle Bork. Danielle’s leadership, service, and commitment to fellow Rotarians and our community reflect the very best of Rotary values. The award was presented by Steve Knox, on behalf of Immediate Past President Kirk Patterson, who was unable to attend due to a medical emergency. A fitting and heartfelt way to close out 2025 — celebrating the season, the spirit of Rotary, and one of our own.
