London Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction

Established in 1956 by The Rotary Club of London and London Sports Media, the annual Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction is the longest running and largest fundraiser for Thames Valley Children's Centre. Over the past 50 years, this annual event has raised more than $1.5 million to benefit children with disabilities.

Every January brings a different group of sports celebrities to this event—including professional athletes, Olympians, any local champions. Bidding on popular live and silent auction items adds to the anticipation and energy of the evening. Auction items include trips, choice tickets to sporting events, and autographed memorabilia.

As well, on the day of the Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction, approximately 200 young TVCC clients gather at the London Convention Centre for a magical time celebrating their own successes, meeting the celebrities, and collecting autographs. It is an exciting time for both the children and athletes!
